I was asked to record a podcast for The Innovative Leaders on Personal Image to talk about:
- what I do
- how I help clients
- what a typical consultation entails
- how I got into image consultancy
- how the industry has changed and is changing
- what I would tell the younger version of myself before I started out some 13 years ago

I guess the thing that I most wanted to get across is that you should always dress for you – in a way that feels comfortable to you, that portrays your personal brand and personality and that works for the way you spend your time.
I talk about how your clothes should ‘Fit, Flatter and Function‘ and I’d add a 4th ‘F’ in that they should also ‘Feel like you‘ too. If you take time to invest in yourself, you can build a wardrobe that makes you look and feel more confident, and that makes the daily task of choosing what to wear each day a simple, and even enjoyable, one! What’s more it saves you money too as you don’t end up buying things that rarely/never get worn.
If you’re wondering what’s involved in a typical consultation, just have a listen from about 8 minutes into the podcast. I’m talking mostly about a Business Image Consultation here, but it will give you the gist of what’s involved and how I can tailor a consultation to help you in whatever way works best for you.
I’m not a scary Stylist who imposes rules as to what you should or should not do. I’m more interested in listening to you to understand who you are, what your clothing challenges are, and how I can help make it easier for you. Whether you’re simply interested in understanding which colours suit you, create impact and convey your personal brand, would like help putting outfits together and organising your wardrobe, or whether you’d like a top-to-toe image makeover that can include defining your personal brand, a colour analysis, a style session and a wardrobe edit or personal shopping experience, I’d love to help you.
Take the first step today and just give me a call – 07917 663330. We can get to know one another better and you can then decide if I’m the right person to help you to take control of your wardrobe.
Here’s what Rachel, a recent client and HR professional, said about me following her consultation:
“Kerrie is wonderful. I was lucky enough to have a style consultation and wardrobe edit. Kerrie’s more interested in you – your taste, personality and lifestyle – than she is in just the latest trend. She did my colours – which was a revelation! She also helped me work out why the things I wasn’t sure about weren’t right for my body shape, or just weren’t me. She has loads of tips and tricks, but she’s not all about following rules! She also sent me notes to remind me what we’d talked about and a Pinterest board full of suggestions, so I had a very successful shopping spree the following week! The result has been that I’ve cleared out things that aren’t right for me, I’ve re-discovered clothes, I’ve got new ways to wear things, I’ve made some really good purchases, and most importantly I’ve got loads more confidence in how I dress. Thanks so much Kerrie 🙂 “
