Make this the year you follow your style
Here’s a few style resolutions to help you get the most from your wardrobe in 2013:
1. Resolve to find your style. Before you spend any money go to your wardrobe and make up one outfit that you absolutely love. Put it on and analyse why you love it. Does it show off your great legs? Does the colour make you feel good? Is it because it fits really well and you know you can just forget you are wearing it? Have you been told you look fabulous in it? Really think about what it is that makes you love this outfit. Once you worked out the key elements make a note of them and take it shopping with you.
2. Resolve to build a Capsule Wardrobe. Starting with the outfit from 1 above decide how you can wear it in new ways. If it’s a dress can it be made more casual with a chunky cardigan and boots? Would a great piece of jewellery draw attention to the neckline? What other colours do you love that would work with it? Make a list of pieces that would work with and extend this outfit. Put together a work capsule wardrobe and a casual capsule wardrobe or if you’d like some help just give me a call (01252 790425) or drop me an email – https://kerrieellis.co.uk/women.
3. Resolve to feel fabulous every day. When your wardrobe is full of clothes you love, that make you feel good this is an easy resolution to keep. But how often do we buy something and keep it for best or just that one occasion? That makes it a very expensive outfit! Why shouldn’t you dress up and feel good about yourself on a daily basis? Feeling good gives you confidence so resolve to step out with style – for yourself – every day.
